The Maple View Lodge was incredible! We had 16 guys up for a golf trip & everyone had space that was their own. The property was easy to find, access & enjoy.
We had dinner at the Lakeview Hotel Bar & Grill which was only about 3 minutes away, still within the Shanty Creek Grounds. That was excellent as well.
Kara was great with responding to any questions & making sure we had all the information needed.
A fantastic weekend at an amazing property!

Really stunning home, tucked away in a beautiful resort town. Kara’s home was everything it was hyped up to be and our group had an amazing time staying there. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great week. It felt like home very quickly and everyone loved the feel of being in a ski lodge. It had everything we needed, very well supplied.

We loved our stay and the local amenities we had access to! The house was clean, and kitchen was equipped for a family weekend getaway. The private beach club and resort pools were lots of fun! Kara was easy to get a hold of and super responsive.

Kara’s place was absolutely amazing, the chalet was beautiful and everything was as described. Kara was an amazing host, allowed us to check in early and messaged us everyday to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. I would absolutely stay here again

The Chalet provided our family with a peaceful, comfortable, and fun place to gather! The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, mugs, dishes, and cookware. Basic supplies were readily available. The deck, large dining table, and couches provided various places to relax and hangout. The beds were comfy. The guidebook was very helpful for restaurant and outing choices. The pool and hot tub at Lakeview Hotel is the preferred choice. We enjoyed Cellar 1914 and Torch Lake. Kara and Nate were welcoming and responsive via text. This was the most welcoming and thoughtfully furnished Airbnb in which we have stayed. Thank you for sharing The Chalet with us!

This was the perfect place for our girls weekend! It’s spacious and cozy at the same time. The beds were incredibly comfortable! The morning after our first night we all commented on how good we slept and immediately message Kara for links to the mattresses, pillows and sheets so we could purchase for home!

Kara was a great place centrally located and had plenty to do. The cabin was very family friendly and was perfect for spending time together while having a separate wing for kids to still have quiet time. Our group had a great time and made lots of family memories!
